Warranty, Inspection & Product Tolerance Policy
This Warranty, Inspection & Product Tolerance Policy applies to custom inflatable products manufactured or supplied by AirStructure Co., including inflatable event domes, branded booths, product replicas, advertising arches, inflatable games, sports structures, event tents, sponsor billboards, inflatable display walls, and other custom commercial inflatable products.
Custom inflatable products are soft, flexible, air-supported goods made through printing, cutting, sewing, welding, assembly, inflation testing, folding, and packing. Reasonable product variation may occur in size, color, shape, print placement, seams, material finish, and inflated appearance.

What May Be Reviewed as a Warranty Concern
AirStructure Co. may review reported concerns to determine whether the issue appears to be a manufacturing defect, shipping damage, customer handling issue, installation issue, normal product tolerance, wear and tear, misuse, weather damage, or another condition outside warranty coverage.
| Concern Type | May Be Reviewed When |
|---|---|
| Manufacturing defect | The issue appears to come from production, material failure, seam failure, incorrect construction, missing required component, or product function problem not caused by use, shipping, storage, or installation. |
| Shipping damage | The product or packaging shows visible damage from transit, freight handling, carrier mishandling, moisture, crushed packaging, missing items, or delivery-related problems. |
| Missing accessories | Required accessories listed in the invoice, order details, or project confirmation are missing after delivery and reported promptly with package information. |
| Air performance issue | The product does not inflate or perform as expected when used with the correct blower, correct power source, proper setup, closed zippers, and appropriate installation conditions. |
| Print or artwork issue | The printed product appears materially different from approved artwork or production files, not including reasonable print tolerance, screen color variation, or approved mockup details. |
| Size or shape issue | The final product differs significantly from approved specifications beyond reasonable soft-goods tolerance and not due to inflation pressure, setup surface, anchoring, or measurement method. |
Product Tolerance for Custom Inflatable Products
Custom inflatable products are not rigid manufactured goods. They may vary naturally due to material behavior, air pressure, sewing or welding methods, fabric stretch, panel construction, inflation environment, and three-dimensional product shape.
| Tolerance Area | What Customers Should Expect | Why Variation Occurs |
|---|---|---|
| Size tolerance | Finished width, height, depth, diameter, arch opening, booth footprint, or inflated volume may vary slightly from quoted or mockup dimensions. | Material stretch, seam allowance, air pressure, cutting, stitching, welding, and inflation behavior can affect final measurements. |
| Shape tolerance | Curves, corners, product-replica proportions, arch forms, dome shapes, and inflated surfaces may appear different from flat mockups or reference images. | Inflatable structures require air volume, soft material, internal pressure, flexible panels, and safe manufacturable construction. |
| Color tolerance | Printed colors may vary from screen previews, brand PDFs, Pantone references, previous production, or product packaging. | Material surface, lighting, ink behavior, print method, monitor calibration, and viewing distance affect color appearance. |
| Print placement tolerance | Logos, sponsor marks, text, and artwork may appear slightly shifted, curved, stretched, or visually different on inflated surfaces. | Flat artwork is transferred onto curved, sewn, welded, and air-filled three-dimensional surfaces. |
| Seam and panel tolerance | Seams, panel breaks, zipper locations, blower ports, air outlets, vents, D-rings, tie-downs, and reinforcement points may differ from mockup visuals. | Production teams may adjust construction details for airflow, strength, inflation behavior, safety, and durability. |
| Material finish tolerance | Surface sheen, fabric texture, fold marks, packing creases, minor wrinkles, or appearance differences may be visible after unpacking or inflation. | Inflatable materials are folded, packed, shipped, stored, unfolded, inflated, and tensioned during use. |
What Is Not Usually Covered by Warranty
Warranty support is generally intended for qualifying manufacturing issues, not damage caused by improper use, installation conditions, weather, storage, handling, customer modifications, event-site hazards, or normal wear and tear.
Damage From Improper Setup
Damage caused by incorrect setup, poor anchoring, sharp surfaces, dragging, overloading, unsafe weather use, incorrect blower setup, wrong power source, or failure to supervise may not be covered.
- Dragging product on rough ground
- Using near sharp objects
- Improper anchoring
- Using in unsafe wind or weather
- Incorrect blower or power use
Damage From Poor Care
Damage caused by improper cleaning, storage while wet, mildew, heat exposure, chemical exposure, pests, excessive folding stress, vehicle transport, or careless handling may not be covered.
- Storing product while wet
- Leaving product exposed to heat
- Using harsh chemicals
- Improper folding or packing
- Damage during customer transport
Damage From Public Interaction
Damage caused by participants, crowds, staff, vehicles, pets, vandalism, climbing, misuse, food and beverage spills, or uncontrolled public interaction may not be covered.
- Climbing or hanging on display products
- Unsupervised public access
- Vehicle or equipment impact
- Vandalism or intentional damage
- Improper participant use
Customer-Approved Artwork or Specs
Issues visible in approved mockups, artwork, specifications, invoices, or written confirmations may not qualify as warranty issues after production.
- Approved spelling mistakes
- Approved logo placement
- Approved sponsor order
- Approved colors or layout
- Approved product size or shape
Reporting a Product Concern
To help AirStructure Co. review a product concern efficiently, customers should provide complete documentation. Clear photos, videos, and setup details help determine whether the issue may relate to manufacturing, shipping, installation, product tolerance, or event use.
| Information Needed | Why It Helps |
|---|---|
| Order number, invoice, or project name | Helps identify the product, production details, approved specifications, and related project records. |
| Photos of the full product | Helps review overall condition, product shape, print visibility, setup environment, and scale of the issue. |
| Close-up photos of the concern | Helps inspect seams, material, printing, zippers, ports, damage, or specific construction details. |
| Videos during inflation or use | Helps review airflow, blower performance, air pressure, structural behavior, stability, and function concerns. |
| Packaging and delivery photos | Helps determine whether the issue may be related to shipping, freight handling, water exposure, or carrier damage. |
| Setup details | Helps review surface type, anchoring, weather, blower type, power source, staffing, and event conditions. |
Repair, Replacement or Resolution Review
If AirStructure Co. determines that a reported issue qualifies for support, the available resolution may depend on the issue type, product condition, timing, event deadline, shipment status, replacement feasibility, and whether the product has already been used.
Repair May Be Recommended
Some concerns may be addressed with repair guidance, repair materials, patching, accessory replacement, local repair, or other practical support depending on product type and issue severity.
Replacement Depends on Eligibility
Replacement may be considered for qualifying issues when repair is not practical, but custom production timelines, artwork, material availability, and shipping requirements may apply.
Resolution May Be Case-Specific
AirStructure Co. may determine whether the most appropriate resolution is repair, replacement parts, partial support, production review, carrier claim assistance, or another reasonable solution.
Event Use Before Inspection Is Complete
Customers should inspect and test products before event use. If a product is used at an event, modified, repaired by a third party, exposed to weather, damaged during setup, or handled by event staff before AirStructure Co. can review a reported concern, resolution options may be limited.
Test the Product Early
Test inflation before the event helps identify missing accessories, blower questions, shipping issues, or setup concerns while there is still time to review options.
Monitor Event Conditions
Event staff should monitor weather, anchoring, crowd access, blower operation, surface conditions, and product stability during use.
Clean and Store Properly
Products should be cleaned, dried, folded carefully, packed safely, and stored in a suitable environment after use to reduce damage and extend product life.
Maintenance, Care and Storage Expectations
Custom inflatable products should be handled carefully to maintain condition, appearance, air performance, and event readiness. Proper care can help reduce avoidable damage and extend usable life.
Protect the Product During Setup
Avoid dragging the inflatable across rough surfaces. Keep away from sharp objects, hot surfaces, vehicles, heavy equipment, open flames, abrasive flooring, and uncontrolled crowd contact.
- Use a clean setup area
- Protect against sharp debris
- Do not drag unnecessarily
- Keep blower areas clear
- Monitor public interaction
Clean and Dry Before Packing
Products should be dry before storage. Packing a wet inflatable may lead to odor, mildew, staining, fabric damage, print issues, or reduced product lifespan.
- Dry completely before storage
- Store in a cool dry area
- Avoid heavy objects on top
- Keep away from pests and chemicals
- Inspect before the next event
